BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth M. Ross is a principal of the firm. Her practice focuses on family law, litigation, collaborative divorce and mediation. Elizabeth regularly practices in several jurisdictions in Northern Virginia including Loudoun County, Fairfax County, Prince William County, as well as Clarke County and the City of Winchester. Although she is a seasoned litigator, Elizabeth believes in alternative dispute resolution including mediation and collaborative divorce whenever possible for her clients. Elizabeth is a member of the International Association of Collaborative Practitioners, the Virginia Collaborative Professionals, and the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia/Loudoun.

A Northern Virginia resident for over 25 years, Elizabeth has been practicing in the field of family law for over 14 years. Community service is an important part of Elizabeth’s career. Most recently, she was elected to serve on the board of the Virginia Women’s Attorney Association. She served on the Loudoun County Bar Association Board of Directors from 2013-2015, and has volunteered on the Law Camp committee since 2008, including as a publicity chair and mentor to high school students. She was the Chair of the Virginia State Bar Special Committee on Lawyer Referral from 2014-2015.

As a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia since 2006, Elizabeth has served in many leadership roles including on the board of directors. Elizabeth also leads her daughter’s Brownie Girl Scout Troop. She enjoys all of the arts, festivals, farms and activities that this community offers in her spare time with her husband and two daughters.

Elizabeth was listed as a SuperLawyer for Northern Virginia in 2016, and was listed as a SuperLawyers Rising Star for Northern Virginia from 2010 to 2015. She has achieved a rating of “Superb” on the AVVO.com web site.
